As part of Spring Cleaning Week, Coppell firefighters will be visiting homes to help residents make sure their spaces are safe and ready for the year ahead. During a scheduled visit, firefighters will perform a free home safety check—evaluating fire risks, replacing smoke alarms or batteries as needed, and even relocating battery-powered smoke detectors to safer spots. Limited quantities of fire extinguishers and smoke alarms may also be available.

After you register, we’ll send you a short form to let us know how many batteries, alarms, or other items your home may need. Appointments are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so sign up early to reserve your spot and take an easy step toward a safer home this spring!
